Baby Toys For Boys, Ages 0-12 Months!
The 2021 Holiday Season is here! Here is my Ultimate List of 2021 Baby Toys For Boys! My son played with all of these over his first year and still uses some of them today. Happy Shopping!
The lists below contain some of my sons favorite toys throughout his first year. This is not everything he had, but we were blessed with a lot of hand me downs from friends and family who had babies before us. I have noted the absolute must haves with an asterisk, the ones we could not have done without that first year!
0-6 Months
Oball Classic Ball: This ball is great. Can also be used when teething a bit and can go in the bath as well. My son loved to hang onto this thing and stick his fingers through it.
Baby Einstein 4-in-1 Play Gym*: My son had this and while he only used the mobile pieces of it for a couple of months, he still LOVES the piano part of it 18 months later!
Musical Activity Spiral Car Seat Toys: This goes on the carseat so your baby has something to look at and try and reach for.
Musical Smart Remote Key Toy for Baby: A great small, noise maker that has buttons and a great item to keep in the car to play with in the car seat. (4+ months or so)
6-12 Months
VTech Sit-To-Stand Learning Walker*: This is great to get for babies way before they are starting to walk, because they can sit in front of it and play with all the buttons and lights.
Fisher-Price Baby’s First Blocks and Rock-a-Stack: Two parts to this toy, stacking rings and then a bucket where you have to fit the shapes into the correct spot on the lid.
BABY JOY Baby Walker, Activity Walker*: This is not as much a toy, but might as well be for the amount of hours of entertainment and independence it provides. My son started in his pretty early around the five month mark and LOVED it. He lived in this thing till he started walking. He loved being able to get around on his own and would race around the kitchen island and chase the dog. He had so much fun with it!
Baby Einstein Neptune’s Ocean Discovery Jumper*: Same kinda thing as above, provided hours of entertainment. He would jump in this thing all day if we let him! He got so much energy out in this jumper that he even fell asleep a few times! My son started early in this as well, probably around 5 months, but I believe its recommended for ages 6+ months.
Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Puppy: Perfect babysitter when trying to change diapers! Plays songs, teaches words, phrases, the alphabet, body parts, etc.
LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table: I would say this was great a little later when he could stand up on his own. I think you can also take the legs off, or just not put them on right away and use the table part on the floor till then.
VTech Pull and Sing Puppy*: Love the puppy. It’s so cute and we would tie the leash to his walker and he would take the puppy for a “walk” He still plays with the puppy from time to time. He loves dogs so he’s partial to this toy still.
Infantino Textured Multi Ball Set: Great for sensory play. Just be careful if you have a dog in the house, they tend to think these are their toys as well! Also these can very easily go in the bath too. Anything that is straight plastic like this can pretty much end up in the bath too.
Soft Stacking Blocks for Baby: Great for learning to stack things, make towers and break them down. Sensory Play.
Bath Toys
The First Years Disney Finding Nemo Baby Bath Squirt Toys: Cutest little bath squirt toys! Introduce somewhere around the 4-6 month stage.
Baby Bath Books: Love being able to read to them while they are soaking in the bath and its great because if they try to chew on the pages it won’t ruin the book! Use at anytime.
Munchkin Shake’n Strain Baby Bath Ball: Something for them to hold and throw. Introduce around the 4-6 month stage.
Nuby Floating Purple Octopus: The Octopus floats, and has little rings for them to try and put on the tentacles. Introduce when ready, probably around 8 months, however my son wasn’t really interested in it till later, but you never know till you try.
MARPPY Bath Toys, Bathtub Basketball Hoop for Toddlers*: I think my husband actually has more fun with this toy than my son does, and he loves it too. He took to it quite quickly after we taught him how to use it. He now puts every toy that will fit into the hoop. It sticks right to the bath tub. Introduce closer to a year.
V-Tech Products
I also want to give a special shout out to all the V-Tech products in general. Everything we have from them has been great. Super entertaining and they focus a lot on learning and development. You will see a lot of their products sprinkled throughout my posts, but if you want to check out their whole line on Amazon, click here to browse.
Books
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?: This was my sons first favorite book. He absolutely LOVED moving the slides back and forth on the pages. He would do it over and over!
First 100 Words: A Padded Board Book: He loves this one too, points to each item and we tell him what it is, then we would ask him where each item was on the page.
Goodnight Moon: We introduced this book when we switched up his bedtime routine and started reading him books before bed. My son is very picky with his books and this one has made it through!
Disney Baby – My First Library: Disney has a whole series; Winnie the Poo, Disney’s Pixar, Muppet Babies, etc. Great collections to have in your babies library.
