Third Trimester Must Haves, tips and expectations to make it through the final trimester of your pregnancy.
Welcome to the Third Trimester! The last few months of your pregnancy can be uncomfortable because your belly is huge and it becomes harder to do certain things. Sleeping becomes more difficult and you wake up to go to the bathroom frequently. With all that being said, I still prefer the third trimester over the first because of how sick I was. Last pregnancy I had a hard time the last couple of weeks and needed help to get off the couch!
Other things that can be difficult that you don’t think of are things like reaching the bottom of the washing machine (top loaders), tying shoes, etc. For a list of Third Trimester Must Haves, my go to list that you will need to get through the Third and FINAL trimester of pregnancy see below!

BELLY SUPPORT & GENERAL COMFORT
AZMED Maternity Belt: By the third trimester if you haven’t already purchased one of these, do it. I could not live without it. The lower back pain starts to kick in and you can really use some extra support. I liked this one as I could wear it over and under my clothes and wasn’t too overboard.
Trideer Exercise Ball: These are great to have around the house as something to sit on in the later stages of pregnancy and then to also have post delivery for soothing the baby. I recommend the size large especially if you want to use it as a chair.
Plixio Gel Seat Cushion: I work remotely on a computer all day and sitting in my office chair for 8 hours gets to be super uncomfortable and sometimes painful. Once I hit the third trimester I need some added cushion for my chair. I also needed this post delivery when sitting in regular chairs as well.
Neck & Shoulder Heating Pad: This is amazing. Not only does my lower back ache during the third trimester but my neck and shoulders are always messed up because of sleeping in the same position every night. I am very hesitant to use any heat on my lower back or abdomen area, so thankfully I have this beauty for my neck and shoulders. This is a daily thing in the mornings for me.
SHOES & COMPRESSION SOCKS
Not being able to tie your shoes is a real bummer in the third trimester. Therefore, slip-on shoes of all kinds are essential. Depending on the weather during your third trimester, you might need a few different options.
Skechers Slip-On Sneakers: I live in these year around, I have several pairs. So easy to get on and off, no laces necessary!
Skechers On The Go Flip Flop: I love all things Skechers, so surprise, I have these too for the summer months!
Donpapa Womens Fluffy Skippers: Fuzzy Slippers for around the house.
WaySoft Genuine Australian Sheepskin Women Slippers: These are a great UGG alternative, if you want higher quality but don’t want to spend UGG prices.
Women’s Cross Band Open Toe Slippers: For the warmer months when you need some more breathability.
HLTPRO Compression Socks: If you have not already purchased Compression Socks I highly recommend that you do in the beginning of the Third Trimester. These help tremendously, especially if you spend a lot of time on your feet. I wore them routinely by the third trimester and for a long time after delivery. Your feet stay can stay swollen for quite some time, especially if you have a C-Section. They come in many different colors and patterns as well.
OTHER
Palmperfect Bikini Trimmer: This little Gem was a lifesaver during the third trimester. This thing was so gentle and I am never worried about it cutting me. When you can’t see past your belly, its nice to have something reliable and for the price this thing can’t be beat! I love this trimmer!
